FIELD GUIDE ยท RaidForge

Find a WoW group with RaidForge's character and schedule filters

Choose a verified character, compare group requirements and schedule, then track your application in RaidForge.

Editorial review:

Choose the right character and activity

In the web or iPhone group finder, choose the WoW version and the character you want to play. RaidForge verifies characters from the linked Battle.net account; a character that Blizzard does not return is not shown as verified and cannot apply. Separate pools cover Retail, Classic Progression, Classic Era, Hardcore, TBC Anniversary and Season of Discovery.

Pick the activity and check your role, availability and region before browsing. Keeping one character and version selected makes it easier to compare only groups that match your actual game.

Compare group requirements

Use the filters for role, class, schedule overlap, realm, play style and loot rules to narrow the cards. Open a group and read its requirements before applying. If you are comparing raid groups, check the hard reserves, soft reserve count and any item-level or parse expectations the recruiter has set.

For example, if you can play after 9 p.m. and are applying as a healer, prioritize groups with overlapping hours and an open healer need. A timezone-aware schedule can cross midnight; confirm the local time before committing.

Review character evidence and apply

RaidForge can display the character's equipped-item snapshot and source-dated Warcraft Logs parses. Check the version, source, zone, metric and timestamp. A parse reports an encounter result; it does not guarantee future attendance or performance. A gear score is a consistent RaidForge planning signal, not a claim that it exactly reproduces another addon's formula.

Apply as tank, healer or damage with the character that matches the listing. Then track whether the application is accepted or waitlisted in that character's activity. Confirm details with the recruiter if the listing does not answer a practical question.

For group leaders, keep the pool opt-in

Leaders create a listing as an active verified character and manage applicants from the same recruiting flow. Profiles start as drafts; users choose whether to publish. A guild page is recruiter-created and does not independently verify guild leadership. Keep Discord visibility at the level each person selected.

The separate RaidForge TBC in-game addon supports whisper capture, roster review and boss assignments. Its Applicants tab and guarded Auto Invite belong to that raid-lead workflow; they are not the web/iPhone group-finder application list. Current character and parse data can be unavailable or stale, so confirm attendance and role directly.
